Ovis Ammon, commonly known as the Argali sheep, is a large species of mountain sheep found in Central Asia. The hunt for this majestic animal is a popular pastime for many avid hunters and wildlife enthusiasts. However, there are several synonyms for Ovis Ammon that are not so commonly known. Some of these include the Marco Polo sheep, snow sheep, and Siberian Argali. These names refer to specific sub-species of Ovis Ammon found in different regions of Central Asia.
