The Persian gazelle, also known as the Central Asian gazelle, is a graceful and agile animal found in the grasslands and deserts of Iran, Afghanistan, and neighboring countries. Due to its importance and beauty, it has many synonyms. Some of these include: Kokcha gazelle, Chinkara, Indian gazelle, and Black-tailed gazelle. Another common name for this animal is Goitered gazelle, which refers to its enlarged larynx. This species is known for its distinctive white rump patch and long, slender horns. Despite being a popular prey for predators like wolves and big cats, the Persian gazelle is not considered endangered.
