The Triquetral bone, also known as the triquetrum bone or os triquetrum, is a small bone found in the wrist joint. This bone is situated at the base of the ulnar side of the hand and is part of the carpal bones. Interestingly, the Triquetral bone is an important structure for proper wrist movement, as it helps transmit force from the arm to the hand. There are few synonyms for this term, but they include the triangular bone, pyramidal bone, or the cuneiform bone. Despite the different names, they all refer to this small, yet crucial bone that plays an essential role in our body's movements.
