The Asiatic Flying Squirrel is known by a variety of different names. In certain regions, it may be called the Japanese Flying Squirrel or the Siberian Flying Squirrel. Other synonyms for this creature include the Northern Flying Squirrel and the Plateau Flying Squirrel.
