Erythroblastosis is a medical condition that occurs when there are excessive numbers of erythroblasts (immature red blood cells) present in the blood. There are several other terms used to describe erythroblastosis, such as ABO incompatibility, alloimmune hemolytic disease of the fetus, isoimmunization, and newborn jaundice.
