A flyover is an elevated roadway that passes over, or flies over, another road or railway track. However, in different parts of the world, this structure can be referred to by various names. In the United States, it is commonly known as an overpass, while in the United Kingdom and Australia, it is called an overbridge. In India, it is sometimes referred to as a skyway, while in Malaysia and Singapore, it is called a pedestrian bridge. Other synonyms for flyover include viaduct, bypass, elevated highway, and overpass bridge.
