Fore-shadows refers to an indication or warning of something that is going to happen. The opposite of fore-shadows, which is its antonym, is hindsight. Hindsight refers to understanding and evaluating a situation or event after it has happened. While fore-shadows anticipate the occurrence of an event, hindsight is a review of what has already taken place. Another antonym for fore-shadows is unpredictability, which is the quality of being unusual, erratic or not easy to predict. Unlike fore-shadows, unpredictability does not give warning of future events but instead suggests a lack of order or coherence.
