Genus Lunda, also known as the Lunda tribe, is a group of indigenous people living in the southwest region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are also known by various other synonyms based on their location and language variations. Some of the synonyms for Genus Lunda includes Lunda-Ndembu, Lunda-Kazembe, and Lunda-Chokwe. In Angola, they are known as the Luunda and in Zambia, they are referred to as the Runda.
