Inter-weave is a verb that describes the action of intertwining or weaving together. Its antonyms would therefore be verbs that describe the opposite action, such as disentangle, separate, unravel, or untangle. Disentangle refers to the action of separating something that has been tangled or enmeshed. Separate means to keep two things apart or to disunite or sever the connection between them. Unravel is used to describe the act of undoing or unraveling something that has been wound, knotted, or twisted. Lastly, untangle means to eliminate the knots, twists or snarls in something that has been entangled.
