Oenanthe Aquatica, also known as water dropwort, is a species of flowering plant that is commonly found in wetlands, marshes, and along river banks. This plant is often used in traditional medicine for its medicinal properties. The name water dropwort is derived from the shape of its small, white flowers that resemble drops of water. Other synonyms for Oenanthe Aquatica include European dropwort, hemlock water dropwort, and fine-leaved water dropwort. In North America, it is also called water celery or water parsely. Despite its numerous synonyms, caution should be taken when consuming any part of this plant as it is poisonous and can cause serious health complications.
