WRAF was the acronym for Women's Royal Air Force, a branch of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) that was created during World War I. Although WRAF is no longer in use, there are several synonyms for the term that describe women serving in the military. Some of these synonyms include Airwoman, Servicewoman, and Female Aviator. These terms are now commonly used in the military to describe women who are serving in various roles. Additionally, as more and more women are joining the military, the language used to describe them is constantly evolving, and new synonyms may continue to emerge.
