These majestic creatures are primarily found in the forests of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and they are known for their distinct, shaggy black fur. While they may appear intimidating due to their size and strength, mountain gorillas are actually gentle giants that are typically content to go about their business without bothering humans.
