Tragelaphus Strepsiceros is a type of antelope that is native to Southern Africa. This particular antelope is more commonly known as the kudu, and is well-known for its impressive spiral horns that can grow to be up to 1.8 meters long. The kudu is an herbivore and feeds on leaves, shoots, fruits, and flowers which are found in the savannas of Southern Africa. There are a few synonyms for this majestic animal, such as Greater Kudu, Southern Greater Kudu, and Eastern Kudu. Kudus are popular among hunters for their meat and their striking spiral horns, which make great trophies.
