Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great, is one of the most famous pharaohs of Ancient Egypt. He reigned for 67 years, from 1279 to 1213 BCE, and was known for his military campaigns, construction projects, and grand monuments. In addition to his given name, Ramses II was also referred to by several titles, including Ozymandias, King of Upper and Lower Egypt, Lord of the Two Lands, and Son of Re.
